Trilogy of Trails: Hike. Paddle. Ride. Experience Dwellingup over 3.5 Days.
Dwellingup is a haven for people who want to get outside. The Murray River, Lane Poole Reserve and the Munda Biddi Trail sit close enough together that you can spend one day on the water, the next on foot and the next on a bike, all without leaving the region.
Trilogy of Trails brings those experiences together into one 3.5-day small-group itinerary.
This is the only multi-day, multi-activity adventure of its kind in WA, and it has been built around the places and experiences we know best. You’ll paddle the Murray River, hike through the native forest of Lane Poole Reserve and ride the Munda Biddi Trail, with local guides, equipment, transfers and accommodation organised for you.
You’ll stay for three nights at Noble River Estate, with time built into the itinerary to eat well, recover and enjoy the property between activities. There is optional yoga, an afternoon massage and sauna time across the stay.
One of the most special parts of the trip happens away from the public trails. On the second evening, the group heads to Hollyoak, a private local garden estate, for dinner. Marron is caught fresh from the dam and served with Indigenous produce, prepared by local caterers. It is a private experience created as part of Trilogy and one of the best examples of what we wanted this trip to be: active, local and genuinely connected to Dwellingup.
Perth transfers, local transport, equipment, safety briefings, guides, accommodation and selected meals are already built into the itinerary.

Day 1 | Arrive in Dwellingup and paddle the Murray River
The trip starts with a 9am pickup in Perth and the drive to Noble River Estate, your base for the next three nights.
After induction and lunch, the first activity is an afternoon paddle on the Murray River.
For us, the Murray is one of the best introductions to Dwellingup because you are straight into the landscape. The river runs through the forest and gives you a completely different view of the area from what you see from the road or a trailhead.
Your paddling equipment and essential safety gear are supplied, and your guide will run through the activity before you get on the water. No separate hire booking, launch logistics or vehicle shuffle is required. You arrive, get set up and paddle.
No previous paddling experience is required; the group is supported throughout.
After the paddle, return to Noble River Estate for your first dinner together and a relaxed evening at the property.

Day 2 | Hike Lane Poole Reserve and dine at a private garden estate
Day two starts in Lane Poole Reserve.
This is the part of Dwellingup we spend a lot of time in, and it is one of the reasons the area works so well for an experience like Trilogy. The native jarrah and marri forest, river country and trail network give us room to tailor the day to the group rather than push everyone through a fixed route.
The half-day guided hike includes plenty of stops for stories, photos and a proper look at the surrounding landscape. General fitness and reasonable mobility are recommended, but you do not need to arrive as an experienced hiker. The pace is adjusted to the people on the trip.
With the route handled by the guide, you can focus on the forest and the experience.
The afternoon includes time to relax and an afternoon massage before one of the signature experiences of the itinerary.
That evening, the group heads to a private garden estate dinner. This is not a standard tourism stop. It is a private local property, and the dinner has been built specifically into Trilogy. Marron is caught fresh from the dam and served with Indigenous produce, prepared by local caterers.
It is special because of the access, the setting and the connection to local food. After a morning in Lane Poole Reserve, you spend the evening somewhere most visitors to Dwellingup would never have the opportunity to experience.

Day 3 | Yoga, the Munda Biddi Trail and a slower afternoon
Day three begins with optional sunrise yoga before the group heads out for the mountain bike component of Trilogy.
The ride follows the Munda Biddi Trail through the Dwellingup forest. Bikes, equipment, instruction and support are provided, so you do not need to bring your own bike or organise separate hire.
The Munda Biddi is a major part of Dwellingup’s outdoor scene, and riding it gives you another way to experience the terrain.
The guide sets the pace around the group and provides support throughout the ride. You should be comfortable on a bike and have a reasonable level of fitness, but advanced mountain biking experience is not required.
After the ride, return to Noble River Estate for time to rest and recharge. The afternoon includes sauna time, with space in the itinerary to slow down after three different outdoor experiences across three days.
Later, the group travels to the Exchange Hotel in Pinjarra, where guests can purchase their own drinks and dinner from the menu.

Day 4 | Breakfast and return to Perth
The final morning is deliberately simple.
Enjoy breakfast, pack up and depart around 10am for the return to Perth, arriving around midday.
By then, you will have experienced Dwellingup from three very different angles: paddling the Murray River, walking through Lane Poole Reserve and riding the Munda Biddi Trail.

Why Choose The Trilogy of Trails Experience for Your Next Adventure
The strength of Trilogy is the way the experiences connect.
Dwellingup already has the river, forest and trails. We already have the local guides, activity equipment and knowledge of the area. Noble River Estate gives the group one private base for the full stay. Hollyoak adds an experience that cannot simply be booked independently. Local food, yoga, massage and sauna create space around the active parts of the itinerary.
Bringing those pieces together means you do not lose time moving between unrelated bookings or solving logistics as you go.
You paddle, hike and ride through the region, stay and eat locally, and spend time with people who know the area and can adjust the experience to the group in front of them.
It is active without being an endurance event. It is supported without feeling over-managed. And with a maximum of 16 guests, it stays small enough for the guides to know the group and shape the pace accordingly.
If you have wanted to experience more of Dwellingup in one trip, this is exactly what Trilogy was designed to do.
