Facilities & Services

Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to frequently asked questions about working with us.

  • Are there facilities like toilets and water on the trails?

Facilities vary by trail. On long-distance trails like the Bibbulmun Track, huts often have rainwater tanks and pit toilets. For day walks, facilities may be limited, so it’s always best to carry enough water and plan your toilet breaks. Always carry out what you carry in.

  • What kind of wildlife might I see?

The Dwellingup region is rich in native wildlife. You might spot kangaroos, emus, various bird species including the iconic Black Cockatoos, and if you’re lucky, even a Quokka! Remember to observe wildlife from a distance and never feed them.

  • Is mobile reception available on the trails?

Mobile reception can be unreliable in the Dwellingup bush, with pockets of service depending on your phone and provider. For safety, it’s wise not to rely solely on your mobile. Your guide on tours will carry satellite communication, and emergency landlines are available at key locations in the Lane Poole Reserve (marked on maps).
