Frequently Asked Questions

Find answers to frequently asked questions about working with us.

  • What should I bring for the tour?

You should carry a small day pack with some rainwear (if the season suggests it), a water bottle, and any personal items you might need. It’s essential to bring plenty of water – at least 2 litres per person, as there’s no access to drinking water on the trail itself.

  • What should I wear for the ride?

We recommend comfortable bike riding wear or general sports/active wear. Avoid non-stretchy fabrics like denim or anything too heavy. Light layers are a great option, as you can easily take them off as you warm up during the ride. Closed-in footwear is essential for your safety and comfort. If you have riding gloves, they can be handy too!

  • What about mobile reception and emergencies?

Mobile reception can be unreliable in the area, although you might find pockets of signal depending on your phone and provider. The great news is that your guide is fully prepared with first aid, satellite communications, and a bike repair kit to handle any situations that might arise. You’ll be in safe hands throughout the tour.

  • Do I need prior mountain biking experience?

Not at all! This tour is specifically designed for beginners and those who are less confident on a bike. Our qualified instructor will cover all the basics and guide you through the trails at a comfortable pace, ensuring everyone has a fantastic and enjoyable experience.
