This is a self guided/supported tour. No guides accompany you however we assist you in delivery to start and pick up at finish point.
We drop you off at Island pool. The river features long pools, fast-moving channels and a couple of small rapids as you travel downstream along its forest-lined riverbanks. You carry your canoe over the road at Bobs Crossing for your last short leg to arrive at Baden Powel Water Spout (Dwaarlindjirraap) at 3pm.
Your party arrives at Dwellingup Adventures and Waypoints Café, situated in the Dwellingup Trails and Visitors Centre. Customer toilets, lockers and laundromat are available at the… Please arrive at 10.40am which allows us time for paperwork and payment and to allocate your safety wear. You may have your own dry containers, or you may hire a 20 litre dry barrel along with other equipment (link here). You supply your own food and water as required or you may choose to order a Picnic Package from our own Waypoints Café. You then follow us out to the tour finish point at Baden Powell Water Spout (Dwaarlindjirraap) and park your vehicle. We then transport your party and equipment up to your start point at Island Pool for your 6km river journey back to your vehicle. We meet you at Baden Powell Water Spout (Dwaarlindjirraap) at 3pm and collect the canoes and equipment.
One, two or three person canoe/s complete with paddles, buoyancy vests and water sport helmets (for higher water conditions). A laminated Murray River map is supplied. See (link) for extra hire equipment if required.
The tour is available all year, however from November to April the Murray River’s at its placid best, ideal for novices and families. Park your vehicle at the finish point and we’ll transport you and your canoe up-river to Island Pool (6kms). Spend the rest of the day picnicking, paddling and swimming as you meander downstream through the beautiful Murray River Valley to Baden Powell Water Spout (Dwaarlindjirraap) where we collect your canoe at 3pm.

When you book online, we will hold equipment for you up to 1 hour after booked collection time unless advised otherwise. We reserve the right to re hire the equipment after 1 hour.
No bond, deposit or upfront payment is required to secure a booking.
